One for the boys midway reminder

I used a backing paper from my stash,embossing folder, circle cutter, silver twine, charm and new Nutcrafters digi stamp and sentiment.

Wedding

Afternoon all,

Well my case is packed, I've had my nails done and I'm looking forward to going up to Scotland to my Mum's and Sister's to stay. I'm looking after my nephew next Monday to Wednesday so can't wait.He's 12 so we have lots of fun. My sister and nephew have been down for a few days which has been nice.We've had lunch out together with my Dad and they came for tea last night. It'll be good to travel on the train with them.

Anyway just so you know I'll be away until next Thursday afternoon. So there may be the odd scheduled post.
Here's my weekly post showing you what I've made with the lush funkyhand spring wedding papers that were released a little while ago.

With the papers and the alpha letter I used my heart and english rolled rose die and swirl die.Hope you likey...

Christening card

Morning again,

It's time for a new challenge over at Ruby's Rainbow and the theme has been picked by the lovely Silvi.She chose a recipe challenge which is :

'Emboss, Ribbon, Self made backing paper'

So here's a card I made for a special little girls' christening which was on Sunday who was born at only 25 weeks, 1 little miracle.She's adorable.It was a lovely christening and a few drinks and food at the local pub afterwards. I was invited by Shannen's friend which was so kind.

I used a free A4 embossing folder that came with my Ebosser, freebie butterfly die, Marianne designs leaves,gems, flowers, computer typed sentiment, ribbon and a a scalloped die.

Monkey Tricks

Hi all,

Phew what a scorcher it's been again - lovely. Well I'm home alone as Shamus has gone camping with his motorbike pals for the weekend and Shannen has gone to work. So I'm laid on the sofa determined to have a nice relaxing night.

Here's a card I made today. I've had a few nights this week where I've been enjoying abit of cutting out - very relaxing.

The stripey paper and decoupaged monkey are from Polkadoodles Paper Boutique 1. The sentiment is from Sundae of seasons. I added a few buttons, some twine, ribbon and a chipboard number. Really enjoyed making this - such a fun image.

Lots of texture

Hi all,

It's midway reminder time over at Nutcrafters and we are halfway through Audrey theme of :

'Show some texture'

I used lots of ribbons and lace from a pack I've had for ages - I saw a pic in one of my magazines and had to have a go.So lots of texture.I coloured a nutcrafters digital stamp with promarkers, added a bow and some gems - can't beat abit of bling.

Hope you all had a super weekend.Wasn't the weather fab.  I had a little shopping trip to Hull on Monday with Shannen which was nice.Bless her she did a great job of pushing me in my chair and lifting it out of the boot, usually I can do abit but my arm is still misbehaving and hurts when I use it.

Have a great day.I'm off for a pedicure today so my feet will be beautiful - hopefully.
