Forgotten Funky time

Good afternoon lovely blogger friends,

Apologies for my late Christmas wishes, but I hope you had a wonderful Christmas day.
We had such a relaxing day together just the 3 of us with snacks and present opening when Shannen had a few hours break from Caring. Luckily she only had to go back for just over an hour then back for our Christmas meal at 6:10 and a relaxing evening.

Anyway it's 'Forgotten Funky' time over at Get Funky and Craft and the paper download we've used this time is Funkyhand's Winter Wedding. It's a beautiful paper collection in soft blues and purples.I've been having a play this morning and popped this card together.

We would love you to pop over and see what the rest of the funkettes have created over at Get Funky and Craft. This is my favourite wedding download out of the 4, well it is today.

Challenges:

Enjoy the rest of your Boxing Day, I've had a nice lunch with Shannen and Shamus and been watching TV. Forgot to mention munching on chocolates..... well it would be rude not to. Hope you got some lovely pressies and had fun.

Big hugs and thank you for popping by.

Easy gift wrapping

Hi all,

It's Debbie here,a few days later than expected, but better late than never I guess.
Well are you all organised? I've a couple of cards to finish, I am so late this year and all of the pressies to wrap.

It's my turn to post over at Get funky and craft Inspiration blog where we share all our Funkyhand makes and add the odd step by step tutorials to inspire crafters. We try and post twice a week, so why don't you take a peek.

On the subject of wrapping, I'm always striving to wrap presents up better and if there is a short cut, I'm there...... Here's pillow box I made this week using a template and backing paper from Anice's Twelve Crafters Crafting cd-rom

Here is the finished pillow box. If I can make 1 anyone can do it. I just added a wooden bell embellishment, but you can add whatever you want.

Why not share some of your Funkyhand makes or views with us either by leaving a link below in the comments or on our Facebook page.

Challenges:

Hope you're all well and not wearing yourselves out getting prepared for Christmas. I am going to get my nails done this morning then heading for a cuppa with my friend Julia at the local garden centre.
Whatever you're up to have fun. Thanks for popping by.

Gift card time

Good morning,

Gosh where is the time going......  it's scary how fast the days go. I got my hubby to post all my cards yesterday, usually this gets done earlier but it wasn't to be.I only have a few special ones to do now which I'm hoping to get done today.

It's midway reminder time over at Nutcrafters and the challenge is:
'Something to do with gifts'

This could be a tag, wrapping, bags, gift boxes........
here's a gift card holder I made yesterday for my nephew using a Nutcrafters image. Just a few folds on a piece of card and it's done.

Don't forget you've got until 5th January 2015 to join in the challenge and the DT will love you to pop over to see what they've been making too.

I've had a busy few days with cards and finishing up the Christmas shopping. Had a nice couple of hours with Shannen on Saturday afternoon as she needed a few bits, we ended the day with a coffee and cake - well it would be rude not to. Then a visit to my Mum in laws on Sunday and a quick shop Monday afternoon. The body was suffering yesterday, nice to have a day in.

Challenges:

I'm heading to the hairdressers this morning to have a trim then it'll be time to crack on when I get home, good job it's just around the corner.

Have a lovely day, I hope things aren't too manic for you all. Thanks for popping to see me.

A little bit of gift wrapping

Morning,

It's new challenge time over at Nutcrafters and the theme is:

'Something to do with gifts' which could be:
a tag, wrapping, gift bag, boxes etc.....

We'd love you to join in with us, as well as popping over to see what the teamies have made.

I chose to make a box with my We R Memory Keepers board which I love. I made it from a piece of 12 x 12 paper, used some papers from my stash and  1 of the latest Nutcrafters images. My snowman is a tag too.

Challenges:

So what have I been up to??? I eventually decided what cards I wanted to make to go to friends and family that need posting, so I have prepped some of them - just need to put them together. I had a check up on Monday at the docs which went well. Started feeling a bit weak and wobbly the last few days so I hope I'm not coming down with something.Fingers crossed.

Apologies if I've not managed to comment much lately, I'll get there eventually.
Stay cosy everyone.

Welcome to my new follower Kim, really appreciate you following me as well as all my bloggy friends.
