Had a little time in the garden which was nice as it was a lovely sunny day on Sunday.  Hubby decided to tidy up the paintwork in the living room but realised the sample pot didn't match so we were at B&Q yesterday morning at 8am (early start) to get a pot of paint and the living room got a nice coat of paint.Such a handy man..... I've still been trying to take things easy like a good girl.!!!!

It's midway reminder time over at Nutcrafters and we want to see some kraft card or paper on your creation.  So here's what I came up with on Monday:

Using Acetate!!!!

Morning everyone,

Myself and the rest of the Funkyhand design team have been playing with the soon to be released Wedding paper collections and I have to say I never been so inspired by such a fantastic collection.  Good job Anice

I decided to have a go with a piece of crafting material that I've never really tried - Acetate.  I've had some for a few years now and it's the printable type so I decided to challenge myself - argh scarey.

What was I worrying about, it is so versatile and it was great to venture out of my comfort zone for a change so here's my card with an acetate bubble:
Here's what I printed out and gathered together:
2 sheets were printed out - 1 sheet of acetate with a backing paper printed onto it and a 2nd sheet of paper.
I cut out a section of acetate and scored it on both sides, enough so that it'll wrap around a pice of card and attach with very strong tape.

Then put the card together.
It's good to try a new technique or different materials. Hey if I can do it - anyone can!

I'd love to see what you make with any Funkyhand product so we can pop and leave you a comment. So don't be shy and pop over to Get funky and craft and join in. You can also pop onto our Facebook page and post your pics too.

Challenges:

Have a super day
