More Summer Sunshine Fun

It's time for a midway reminder over at Nutcrafters so it's another

 'Summer Sunshine Fun' card. 

I've used a few of the new digi stamps available on the website shop.I really wanted to do an easel card as it's been ages since I last made one.

Here's another view of it:

I used some freebie papers and cut out some elements form the papers too, added some paper twine, a little crab,images were coloured with promarkers.

Remember we have 2 prizes up for grabs and our fantastic Top 3 spots too.

Christmas Pocket card

Morning........ 

It's a beautiful day and it's little old me here to give you some funkyhand inspiration.  Well that's the plan. Here's a sneaky peak of one of the cards I've been doing over the last week. You will absolutely love the new downloads etc... coming to you soon.

This is just some of the papers from one of the new collections. Not even sure if I'm allowed to name it so I won't .Don't want my legs slapping now.... 

I decided to try my hand at making a pocket card, which is just a matter of:

• layering lots of pieces of paper together 
• glueing 3 sides so that you can pop something into the top of the pocket. 
• I've popped in some die cut trees and some letters from the new doodlewords. 
• The big tree is actually taken from 1 of the new backing papers and enlarged so I could cut it out and wrap bakers twine around it. 

Why not have a try at a pocket card - they are great fun and you can use any shape as a pocket.We'd love you to show us anything that you've been making with any of the Funkyhand products, so either leave us a link over at Get funky and craft or pop over to our Funkyhand Facebook page.

Apologies that I haven't been commenting and popping by your blogs since I got home. I had a really bad headache which I think was a migraine on Saturday afternoon (stabbing pains in my forehead,couldn't stand the light) and my head hasn't been that good since - still can't stand alot of light etc..... I'm thinking of you all and will get round to you eventually, just hang in there with me.

Happy Birthday with Funkyhand goodies

Hi all,

I'm back from my holidays and somehow this posted early - whoops and I didn't have any words on it. Just a quick post just now to let you know that it will take me a while to catch but by next week I should be up to speed - fingers crossed. I hope you're all hanging in there with this beautiful weather.

Todays card is using Funkyhand winter-wedding-papers which are so useable for other occasions.I've used one of the new doodlewords too with a purple promarker, ribbon,postage dies,flower die and card candi. So girly.

Have a super day. I'm off into my craft room to play hopefully as I need a restful day as I have my School Reunion tonight and a few drinkies. My dad is my taxi tonight and I'm going to stay at his house as it's held near him.

Wedding

Afternoon all,

Well my case is packed, I've had my nails done and I'm looking forward to going up to Scotland to my Mum's and Sister's to stay. I'm looking after my nephew next Monday to Wednesday so can't wait.He's 12 so we have lots of fun. My sister and nephew have been down for a few days which has been nice.We've had lunch out together with my Dad and they came for tea last night. It'll be good to travel on the train with them.

Anyway just so you know I'll be away until next Thursday afternoon. So there may be the odd scheduled post.
Here's my weekly post showing you what I've made with the lush funkyhand spring wedding papers that were released a little while ago.

With the papers and the alpha letter I used my heart and english rolled rose die and swirl die.Hope you likey...

Christening card

Morning again,

So here's a card I made for a special little girls' christening which was on Sunday who was born at only 25 weeks, 1 little miracle.She's adorable.It was a lovely christening and a few drinks and food at the local pub afterwards. I was invited by Shannen's friend which was so kind.

I used a free A4 embossing folder that came with my Ebosser, freebie butterfly die, Marianne designs leaves,gems, flowers, computer typed sentiment, ribbon and a a scalloped die.

Monkey Tricks

Hi all,

Phew what a scorcher it's been again - lovely. Well I'm home alone as Shamus has gone camping with his motorbike pals for the weekend and Shannen has gone to work. So I'm laid on the sofa determined to have a nice relaxing night.

Here's a card I made today. I've had a few nights this week where I've been enjoying abit of cutting out - very relaxing.

The stripey paper and decoupaged monkey are from Polkadoodles Paper Boutique 1. The sentiment is from Sundae of seasons. I added a few buttons, some twine, ribbon and a chipboard number. Really enjoyed making this - such a fun image.

Lots of texture

Hi all,

I used lots of ribbons and lace from a pack I've had for ages - I saw a pic in one of my magazines and had to have a go.So lots of texture.I coloured a nutcrafters digital stamp with promarkers, added a bow and some gems - can't beat abit of bling.

Hope you all had a super weekend.Wasn't the weather fab.  I had a little shopping trip to Hull on Monday with Shannen which was nice.Bless her she did a great job of pushing me in my chair and lifting it out of the boot, usually I can do abit but my arm is still misbehaving and hurts when I use it.
