New Home - New Funky Hand goodies

Hi all,

Must make this a quick post as it's been quite a day.  First things first - how inspiring is the new funkyhand download 'Just for Jen' and digital stamps

They are amazing......... I got them last week and wow the ideas just kept on coming. Beautiful colour scheme in aid of a fellow funkette who has had her own struggles with breast cancer that we wanted to do something in her honour. She's a real fighter and is soldiering on.  So all our love and best wishes to her and her family.

The download colour scheme is inspired by the colours for Breast Cancer Awareness, pinks and greys. It's £3.19 - I know a bargain!!!! When a  purchase of the download is made a donation is given to help to aid more research.  So dig deep everyone - it's for a fabulous cause. 'Just for Jen' is released with 4 new digital stamps so click on the link above to see what the rest of the teamies have created.  You will not be disappointed.

Here is my first make:
I used the above download, New funkyhand digital stamps-Number Two Tree Stump Lane, Where the Faeries Live digi(so cute) coloured with promarkers, distress ink background, pan pastel background on the card. Typed sentiment, card candi and ribbon.

Family banner card

Hi there,

So how is everyone?  All okay here in snowy East Yorkshire. Met up with some friends on Friday at a M.E. group meeting. Nice to catch up with our group and some from other groups.  Tiring day.

Also prepared for someone to come and view our house yesterday at 11. All organised and tidy to no avail - they didn't turn up - not a happy bunny.People eh how rude - just a phonecall to cancel would have been nice but hey ho that's life.

Decided that it would not be a total waste of time and had a play in the craft room. Here's my card:

I used Polkadoodle cdroms - Picknix and Sundae of seasons for papers, the letter flags, cross-stitch hearts and altered some bits on my free Serif programme. I also inked the edges of the letter banner, die cut some flowers and leaves from Marianne designs dies -LR0226 & english rose and added a lace bow, decorative pins, twine and buttons.
