How are we all doing today? Here's hoping it's a good day for you all.  

It's time for a new challenge over at Ruby's Rainbow and it's Silvi's turn to choose the challenge theme which is:

For my card I used a Creative Expressions stamp and a thanks embossing folder.

That's me home safe and sound from hospital. I got out last Thursday thank goodness. Everything went well and I've got my Mum here staying to help get me back up to strength. I am so lucky.

 I'm not able to do much and I'm still in my nightie during the day but I'm comfortable and in less pain than last time. Thank you for your lovely get well wishes, it meant alot. You've been amazing this last year.

it could be acetate, parchment, vellum....

For my card I've heat embossed some acetate and played with some shrink plastic which was fun.

I made this card for my friends Sheila and Tom, They are such good friends to us. I am so lucky.

Sorry I've not been commenting much but I've been preparing to go back into hospital for a bowel operation. As you read this I should be getting all ready for theatre. The are so good at Castle Hill hospital in Hull. I'll be in for a week to 10 days. It's a big op again so it might be a while until I can comment so please bear with me.

Hope you're all well and have a lovely day whatever you are up to. I'm starting to feel more like my old self, thank you for your get well wishes on my comments, so thoughtful. We had our new 3 piece suite delivered on Wednesday, it's taking some getting used to it as it's very firm compared to our old one which is piled up in the conservatory waiting to picked up veery soon I hope. We also went carpet shopping on Thursdsay so that's all ordered now too. It should be just over 2 weeks until it can be fitted so I'll be well out  of the way in Hospital recovering from my Bowel operation. I'll come hope to some nice home comforts to recuperate in,I hope!!!! It's all happening in the John's Household.
