Happy Easter Weekend!!!!!

I thought it would never arrive.  The Easter eggs have been on the shelf for 3 weeks, Shannen demolished hers pretty fast, I couldn't wait any longer so my Minstrels egg was shared - yes shared with my lovely hubby last night while having a cosy night in watching a film. Hope you're all having a lovely weekend so far and enjoying this beautiful weather,  it's been that warm the flip flops are out which means painting the old toe nails, have to make my feet presentable...... Had a nice morning in town yesterday, it's amazing how retail therapy can help me to craft.  No crafty buys, just a few essential items of clothing and jewellery, yet it helped my dilemma for a card for a man.  So without further ado:
This is for a neighbour in hospital who loves shooting.
I've used:Just Inklined digi stamp-Willy the kid, gold mirror board, Earth love - Cosmo cricket papers, string, sentiment and coloured with promarkers.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
Ladybug Crafts Ink challenge blog-anything goes
I Love Promarkers Challenge Blog-anything goes
Delicious Doodles challenge blog - anything goes

Take care.

Zing into Spring with Get Funky challenge

Back again, I'm on a roll - won't last.......At the Get Funky challenge they are following  the theme - zing into spring, so lots of bright  spring colours so I thought I'd have a go and make a word book for it as well as have a card organized for my daughter's friend's birthday in May - organized for once.

I used Funky Word book Cd-rom, book rings, bird&sentiment - my minds eye sticker, flowers-polka doodles, ribbons, gems, craftwork card candy, LOTV cute square, hunkydory die-cut sentiment and a little paper frame from my stash. I really had fun putting it together and looking for embellishments.

Two cards made this week!

Another beautiful day so the washer is working overtime and one load is already on the washing line - such a busy bee. Here is a card I made in the week for a friend's birthday, it's quite a different style for me - it took me a while to decide what I wanted to use on it, there was something not quite right until I tried a big flower with the sentiment and I was happy with it.
Papers - Earth love-Cosmo Cricket
Paper punched ribbon, green ribbon,
creatables die cut shapeon green card.
Prima blue flower
Hunkydory sentiment.
Here's another card that I made for my nephew's 7th birthday.
LOTV cute square, blue and black card stock, spotted papers-freebie old creative cardmaking magazine, blue buttons and blue ribbon. The sentiment is a digi stamp from My Craft Studio and I personalised it.

Have a lovely Sunday.Relaxing day crafting I feel.  Had family over both Friday and Saturday night for tea so tonight it's just us.Took a little too much on I think.Had my appointment at the hospital on Friday morning to see if there is anything they can do for my M.E, waited over a year for an appointment so was a little anxious having to go over everything that's been going on for the last 13 years.Good news though it's definately Chronic fatigue syndrome(M.E), they're going to discuss my case and offer me some therapy - really pleased.Enough of my babbling, need to get the washing out.
Take care.
