Card for Christy at Tiddly Inks
A week ago Christy from http://tiddlyinks.blogspot.com
requested volunteers to make a card each to send to her friend Kellie who is turning 40 soon, so I gave her my details and she forwarded two lovely digi images and some backing papers to help us all in making the card. Well that's mine done, so I'm going to pop it in the post tomorrow for her. Hope she likes it. My printer decided to play up but it played ball eventually thank goodness. Sorry if the photo isn't that great. It's the clearest I could get.
How did I make it:
A5 white centura pearl card,
black card and red card for matting and layering,
red ribbon
cut out and coloured the number 40 with a red promarker,
cut out the digi stamp and coloured with black & red promarkers & a black fine liner too,
Printed out the sentiment and a matching insert with the digi on-reduced the size using my craft studio.
Had a lovely time with my daughter today, we popped to 'The Range' as she needed some supplies for her graphics and it gave me a chance to have a look at the craft stuff, I only got some brads how good was I !!!!!! Then we went to the cinema to see 'Gnomeo and Juliet'. It was fantastic, we had such a laugh.
Well that's all for today. x

Friend card
Hi,
It's one of those days when you have lots of crafty goodies but can't seem to get going. That was me today, a sketch seems to help, so I decided to make an entry to the LOTV challenge blog using Dawny P's sketch. Once I saw the sketch there was no stopping me. It's my first challenge with LOTV.
It took me ages to photograph but at last its done. Hope you've all had a good day.Still got the sniffles and a bit chesty so stayed put today. Thought it best not to go to my healthy eating class - didn't want to pass any bugs onto the learners. Crafting is always the best medicine.
Whoops forgot to say what I used:
LOTV cute squares,
red & pink card.
Used my cuttlebug to emboss the dots on.
backing papers from 'my mind's eye' paper pack, pink gems & friend stamp from Polka doodles.
Bye for now x

Valentine's day card
Well, I finished my card for my hubby today. Cutting it a bit fine I know......
He hates cards with alot on them. Creative to us but fussy to him.
Plain and simple is the order of the day.
I decided to do the whole card around the envelope shape.
What did I use:
Forever Friends Cd-rom.
Attach the envelope image and cut around the shape.
Decoupage the bears and the lower part of the envelope.
Hunkydory diamond sparkle on the rose with a quickie glue pen.
Printed out the heart shaped sentiment that I'd typed and add an insert with a cute verse.
Hope he likes it.
That's all for now. Take care and enjoy the rest of your weekend. xx

Cardmaking & Papercraft challenge
Hi,
This is the sketch for the Cardmaking & Papercraft challenge.
I decided to enter my card into this challenge.
What did I use:
Cream 5" by 5" card blank, aqua card, Kate knight backing paper, LOTV stamp, pink ribbon & pink gems.
Quite pleased with the colours for a change. Instead of choosing the papers first, I coloured in my image first. I had a lovely couple of hours colouring in my stamped images - how nice is it to sit and colour using promarkers. Nice and relaxing.
That's all for now.

I've been given an award!!!!
Look what I've been given from the lovely Karen at kjssummerwinekorner.blogspot.com
Thank you so much, i am over the moon. You are very kind.Really appreciate it.
In accepting the award I've had to agree to the following conditions:-
1) You have been tagged, do you want to accept? YES! then create a post on your blog and post the love blog photo.
2) Link back to the person who gave you the award and say if you accept.
3) Choose 3-5 of your favourite blogs to tag, link these in your post too and tell the lucky people they have been tagged.
As the aim of this award is to bring unknown good blogs to light, please don't tag somebody with 3000 followers.
I nominate the following blogs for this award, although there are lots of lovely blogs out there which I enjoy reading, but I'm afraid I can't pick them all!

Dad's birthday cards!
Decided to make an easel card for my Dad's birthday card which was for today.
I used a picture from a whippet calendar,
cream card,
gold mirror board,
buttons,
copied the picture to have a faded background sheet using my craft studio
and printed a verse off.
For a Grandad card I used a sheet from Craftsuprint and printed it out onto super smooth white card
and cut around it and decoupaged some of the tools.
My Dad liked his cards, especially the whippet one, bless him. I popped down to deliver them today.
Just a quick post tonight.
Bye for now
