Challenges:

I've had a nice crafty time today and I've been painting some other crafty bits too. Thanks for taking a peak at what I've been up to.

Claws, Meow and Jingle

Morning

I'm here with a card I put together with the recent release of Kendrick Kat Wordbook. The papers and wordbook pages aren't necessarily for you to create only wordbooks. I like to set myself a challenge when Anice creates a new download for Funkyhand to try something different.

There is nothing wrong with making a wordbook as the possibilities are endless, after all Anice is the queen creator of them. The papers are so fun and quirky in this collection.

For my card I opened the file up in my graphics program and made Kendrick kat do some fun poses!!!!! He is so cool....

I typed a sentiment and started to put my card together. I cut out some of the words from 1 of the papers to add some interest.

Remember you can pop over to our Facebook page or see this or the latest posts from the funkettes at Get Funky and Craft.

Challenges

Thank you for all the lovely comments and birthday wishes, you are so kind. Over the last few days I've had a fun filled time. My lovely friends Sheila and Tom visited me on Thursday afternoon to bring a gorgeous card and some money to treat myself for my birthday - bless them.We had a good laugh.
Then on Friday I had a lovely time when I met my Dad for coffee and a little slice of lemon drizzle cake -nice treat seeing as I've been so good lately.

My daughter didn't take me to meet my dad as she wasn't up to it so Shamus took me.She visited later on. I was spoilt rotten by all my family and friends - I am so lucky. We had a nice film night that night, just me and Shamus.Perfect!!!

Forgotten Funky Sleigh Ride

Good morning,

How are we all today? I'm here to share our Forgotten Funky which is where we re-visit a download at the end of each month.
Sleigh Ride is a brilliant selection of papers that are fun and not just for Christmas. Anice always likes people to get the most out of her paper collections.
You get 20 A4 papers for £2.49. There is a matching word book download available too.

Sleigh Ride downloadable backing papers.

I made a couple of 5x5 cards to add to my growing pile of Christmas cards.I am trying to keep postage costs down so I was determined to keep the designs as flat as possible, yet showcase these beautiful papers.

Check out the rest of the funkettes creations over at Get Funky and Craft inspiration blog to see what they've been up to with this fun download.

It's my birthday today so Shannen is taking me into Hull to pick up my courtesy car, while mine is in the garage and my Dad wanted to meet me for coffee. So a fine treat. How lucky am I.!We may even manage a little bit of shopping too.

Challenges:

Have a super duper Friday whatever you're up to and I'll share with you my pressies and cards later or tomorrow.

Just because...

Back again,
It's new challenge time over at Ruby's Rainbow and it's my turn to choose the theme of:
'Just because'
How nice is it to send a card for no apparent reason. It means more to someone to let them know you're thinking of them etc...
For my card I used the sentiments from a Clearly Besotted Stamps set and the stamped image is a new stamp I bought last week with a voucher I'd won to use at Lili of the Valley
We'd love you to pop over to us at Ruby's Rainbow to see what the rest of the teamies have created as well as joining in with the challenge.

Challenges:

Well it's been an eventful last few days. I had a morning of pampering on Saturday morning getting my hair coloured and my nails painted, which was lovely. Cooked a meal for my brother in law who has gone back to South Africa today to join his wife. They recently moved out there and he has to come back every couple of months to work till he gets something out there.

Then on Monday we set out to the NEC for our yearly night away to visit the Motorbike show.We met our friends at a services off the MI and was about to set off when we had car trouble which resulted in us not going anywhere and waiting for the RAC to send a recovery vehicle out to pick us and my car up. Disappointing but that's life.We arrived home late and I could hardly move. My body had seized up.I spent yesterday having a quiet day at home doing nothing.
Such is life!!!!

Thanks for popping by to see me.

Snowman hanger

Morning,

It's new challenge time over at Nutcrafters and the theme is:

'Anything but a card'

Then we came home to do some crafting together. We wanted to try out some chalk paint on some plaques for gifts. The roller did it brilliantly.Such fun.

Kitty Kat download

I've popped by tonight to share another fab and funky download from Funkyhand called Kendrick Kat wordbook that was released yesterday.

Aren't they adorable for cat lovers. I loved playing with them as they are so fun. Here's my card:

I wanted to use the wordbook pages in a different way and the cheeky Kendrick Kat digital stamp
is so cool and easy to colour for .The digital stamp is only £1.49.The words on the papers are brilliant. I'm more of a dog lover but loved making this one. You get 34 printable pages of the letters A-Z, numbers 0-9 and 5 A4 matching backing papers too for £2.99.
Hope you like it too.

Challenges:

We got our futon back today from my Mum in laws. It wouldn't fit in our other house and now she needs the room so we've got it in our spare room.I say we got it back as in Shamus and a neighbour did all the lifting and too-ing and
fro-ing. I supervised. The most important job I feel!!!! Ha ha.

Been tidying and sorting out a couple of my craft drawers as they were such a mess. Very productive day really. Hope you've had a nice day. It's been a miserable rainy day in East Yorkshire.

Christmas

Morning,
I am blogging today as I've been asked to be a Guest DT over at Stamping Sensations for this months challenge, I was over the moon to be asked.
The theme is 'Christmas' so why not get some more cards done so that you're not panicking in December. We'd love you to pop over to see what the rest of the DT have created as well as entering your creations.

Please grab our logo

For my card, I wanted to do an all stamping card - no backing papers at all. I had a mad panic ther day before I made this as I realised I'd got my dates wrong and needed to get cracking. I got all my Christmas stamps out, did abit of stamping and wasn't happy and couldn't think straight so I thought I'd start afresh the next day and it all came together.Pattern building like this is quite new to me and wow did I enjoy it. I used a set of stamps from Inky Doodles that my friend Sheila lent me.

Challenges:

Anyway that's all from me today I've got the Christening today so I'd better go and get organised.
Have a super Sunday.
