Teal and brown

Hi all,

2 posts in 1 day eh... I thought I'd have a play with some Indigo blu stamps that my friend Sheila let me borrow to have a play with. I should have probably had a rest but I haven't really done much today due to the heat. I had fun so that's all that matters.
Hope you've all had a great day whatever you've been doing.

Fun in the Sun

Morning all,
It's time for a new challenge over at Ruby's Rainbow and it's Angela's turn to choose the challenge theme which is:
'Fun in the sun recipe'
1 image
2 patterned papers
3 embellishments

For my card I used some freebie papers, a Joanna Sheen stamp that I won ages ago and my 3 embellishments are: bakers twine, a shell charm and an adhesive pearl.
I thought I'd try my hand at abit of watercolouring which was quite fun and made a change from my alcohol pens.

Why not join in with us and check out what the rest of the teamies have made. There is some fab inspiration from them too.
Challenges:

Here's hoping you're all well and coping with this rather hot weather. I've managed to get out for coffee a few times in the last week which has been nice. My Sister and family have been down visiting from Aberdeen.
Shannen took me out yesterday to get away the chaos in the house as my new carpets were being laid at last. We've been preparing for it for ages so it's lovely to have nice new, clean carpets all the way through the bungalow. Hunter the dog is loving rolling about on them.

See you all soon. Thanks for popping by and for commenting.

Hugs Debbie xx

Lots of inking....

Morning all,
It's time for a new challenge over at Ruby's Rainbow and it's my turn to choose the challenge theme which is:
' Make your own background'
it could be with inks, stencils, stamping, embossing etc....

I used a memory box stencil with 3 inks for my background, a Sheena Douglass sentiment and 2 tattered lace die cuts. Hope you like it. I really enjoyed getting all inky. I gave my
Specialist nurse this card to thank her for all the help and support she'd given me.She was very touched bless her.

Why not join in with us and check out what the rest of the teamies have made. There is

some fab inspiration from them too.

Thanks for popping by to see me.

I got my biopsy results yesterday from my bowel operation. I have to have a colonoscopy to check the rest of my bowel in 6 weeks time. A cancer was found in the polyp but it was early stages and contained which is good news. They are going to keep a close eye on me over the next 5 years. So all positive really. Thanks for all your support lovely friends.
