Ruby's Rainbow Nativity Challenge
Hi all,
It's challenge time again over at Ruby's Rainbow and the theme is -
I took 2 pictures so it could be seen as a gate-fold card. Pretty hard card for me to make as this is my first 'Nativity' card but Kanban gave me the perfect image to use and backing card. All a freebie so even better. I cut a couple of embossed snowflake dies out and got a few star shapes.I also used a wooden star and some card candi.
Challenges
Crimbo-crackers challenge-30-wooden (wooden star)
charisma cardz challenge-49-christmas-makes
paperplay challenge - wk-50-you're a star
Don't forget to check out what the rest of the DT have created. Hope you're all okay, I'm going to finish off some more Christmas cards - note to self - be more organised next year.

Paper-piecing Christmas
Hi all,
Well it's been a week of getting more Christmas cards made and I've even written some. Few pressies wrapped in time for my Mum's visit this week.
It was my last day at work till after Christmas so we made Christmas dinner - the learners did a fabulous job and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was also invited to the Thursday group class Christmas dinner which was lovely too. So I've done nothing but eat this week. My week was finished off with a lovely visit from my Mum and her husband Bob - so lovely to catch up with them. Then yesterday I got my hair done - very busy week..... Anyway enough chatting here's the card I made today:
I used some freebie Polkadoodle boy and gloves stamped.Paper-pieced parts of the boys clothing and the gloves with newspaper and coloured the rest with promarkers, Polkadoodle paper and sentiment.Cut a tree out of the backing paper using my Marianne designs tree die then cut a tree out of green paper and embossed with dotty cuttlebug folder. Bakers twine and card candi were used too.
Challenges:
Polkadoodle week 49-paper-piecing-with-newspaper
christmas blog challenge - O-christmas-tree
i love promarkers challenge-147-one-for-boys
Partytime tuesdays ptt98-kids-christmas
marianne design divas its-christmas - used tree die
here come the boys blog challenge 42-anything-goes-xmas-candy
Well I'm going to watch the rest of Strictly by the xmas tree we managed to get put up yesterday. Bit late but hey ho that's life. See you soon and lovely to see some new followers.

Christmas with non-traditional colours..
Hi all,
Had a massive crafting day yesterday. Had 4 cards to make so needless to say nothing else got done. At least I had fun.
It's Angela's turn to host the next challenge over at Ruby's Rainbow.
The theme is:
Christmas with non-traditional colours.
Quite different for me but have been wanting to try using the negative die cut piece that we usually throw away. I used Marianne designs xmas tree die and snowflake die, cuttlebug dotty embossing folder, freebie stamp, wooden snowflake and card candi.
Challenges:
crafts 4 eternity - christmas-chaos
fussy and fancy challenge 77-i love christmas
charisma cardz challenge-47-christmas-with-twist
oldie but a goodie challenge - let-it-snow (new xmas tree die, old embossing folder and snowflake die)
natalie and amy - winter-wishes
incy wincy designs - non-traditional-christmas-colours
Catch up with you all soon.
