Newsprint

Hi all,

Well it's my last GDT post for My time to craft and the theme is

 ' Use a page from an old book or newspaper'

I used papers from my 'Prima' paper pack,strip of newsprint from a Authentic paper pack, border die, english rose and leaves (inked newsprint), decoupaged the butterfly image so that it adds some dimension.

Quite a different card for me but enjoyed making it. So come on pop over here and see what the rest of the lovely teamies.  I'd like to say a big 'Thank you' to Shell and the rest of the talented team for inviting me to join them for this month.

Funkyhand SALE & Easter Egg Hunt!!!!!!!

For the Easter weekend Funkyhand are having a sale starting today and continuing until Monday 1st April.  

Everything will be reduced. 

There is a digital Easter Egg hunt on the website. 

Each day there will be an Easter Egg image on the website somewhere. 

You have to search for the egg and click on it. A new page will then open up for you to fill in your details. 

There are prizes to be won, Two fabby Thorntons Easter eggs are waiting as first prizes for two lucky winners and there a five prizes of £5.00 vouchers off Funky Hand downloads for the runners up.

I coloured the digi stamp in with promarkers,added the word chocolate before I printed the digi stamp out, drew around an egg shape for my little easter eggs, Go kreate die, distress ink, twine and button.

Would you believe I sent my daughter out last night to buy some mini eggs for a craft project and there was none in the shops so I had to improvise.

Spring Stepper card Midway reminder

Hi all,

When this goes live I will be chugging along nicely on the train home. Had a super time with my family and am all rested and possibly re-enenergised - or is that too much to ask for.

It's midway through the present challenge over at nutcrafters so there is still time to join in with the present theme 'Spring'.  We'd love to see you over there.

I decided to emboss my letters, ink them up, use some polkadoodle paper from my stash which is spring like, gems, flowers and create a stepper from an A4 sheet of card quite by accident.  The image is one of the new Nutcrafters soon to be released 'Spring Bouquet' digital stamp - so cute.

Funkyhand New Release

Hi all,

Well Anice has done it again..... she has released a gorgeous new  backing paper download collection and some super new digital stamps that you can use for so many different occasions. Pop here to check it out.

Here is a post it note pad incorporating the new paper download and the lush new digital stamp.Just a couple of score lines on a piece of card and 'Voila'. First time for everything and if I can make one anyone can.

My Time to Craft - Gothic

Hopefully this will post while I'm on holiday in Scotland - fingers crossed that the snow is staying away for my stay at least..... There's a new challenge over at My time to craft and the theme is:

I used my ooh la la cdrom for the image, sentiment and papers. added some flowers, ribbon, lace, gems and some Marianne designs leaves die.

Another Easter card

Hi all,

I told you I'd be back now didn't I....
It's time for another challenge over at Ruby's Rainbow and the theme is:

'Easter'

So here's my card:

I used a freebie paper, freebie forever friends decoupage from a sheet which I've had for ages, De'sire die, letters inked, flowers, flower & dotty embossing foldes and pearls.

Spring is here!

Hi all,

It's time for a new challenge over at Nutcrafters and the lovely Silvia has chosen the theme:

Spring is here...

this could be spring colours...spring flowers....easter chicks..

I've used one of the new images called 'Surprise visit' which hasn't been released yet.

 I increased the size of the digital stamp to fit a DLcard, used some distress ink and coloured the rest in with promarkers.I added some gems, ribbon,lace, plus some bunting and letter stickers.

She's a little cutie isn't she. 

We'd like to see this theme on your cards or projects - a nice, easy one for everyone!
