Mad rush to get finished....

Hi,
Well  I just realised yesterday that if I wanted my Sister in laws birthday card to arrive for New years day that I'd better get a move on.  So this is what I created yesterday.
I used white pearlescent card as my base card,
gold mirror board
image and gold and white background from Debbie Moore Majestic xmas cd rom,
decoupaged the lady and decorated her using a sakura glue pen and glitter,
Typed sentiment and some peel offs.
Made the dress flow past the base of the card.

Hope she likes it.Till next time.

It's here!!!!!!!!!!!

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!!!

Well that's me organized at last. It's took some doing but I'm all ready for tomorrow. The veggies are prepped, the pressies are wrapped and the house is tidy all ready for tomorrow..... Have a lovely day no matter what you're doing.

I nearly forgot, I received a mystery parcel last weekend. I'd apparently won 1 of the 18 Beatrix Potters Cardmaking kits in a competition in last months 'Papercraft Essentials' magazine. I had made a wintry easel card using a Beatrix Potter decoupage sheet which was a free download with Crafter's Companion and added a backing sheet, a sentiment, glitter and a peel off. How lucky am I to win this beautiful kit.
See you soon.

The blog candy from Fliss at Stampers Chef

How lucky am I to win this amazing blog candy on the Polka Doodles blog hop on 30th November. It is an amazing prize and I am yet to play with it due to Christmas.  It took a while to arrive due to the weather stopping our postie getting to us but it arrived last week.  I was so excited.  Sorry I've not been blogging for a while but Christmas planning just took over......  I also received another blog candy goodie that I won last week from Mina at Pinkpuds it's a Curio 6 x 6 Paper Pad. Beautiful Vintage colours..  What a lucky girl I am.

Here's a few pics of what I've been creating over the last few weeks. My back is holding up thanks to my lovely Osteopath.

I used the House-mouse home and garden decoupage sheet, a forever friends backing paper &added my own sentiment.

I used the Thomas Kinkade cd-rom to pint out these sheets that make a shaped gate-fold card. I also added hunkydory glitter with a sakura pen.

Using my Docrafts Forever Friends cd-rom I printed off this lovely couple and mounted the sheet onto mirror card and used a little glitter and flowersoft snow.

Here's another one  printed from the Forever Friends cd-rom and added glitter and flowersoft snow.  Well that's it for now. Got more pressies to write, a couple of cards to make for my daughter to give to her friends and more ironing.  Life doen't get much better than this.

Lili of the Valley Blog Hop and Challenge

Here is my card that I have entered into the Lili of the Valley Challenge that's having a blog hop too.  They are celebrating some fab new stamps and for 1 week only you can use any make of stamp or digi image to make a card or gift and the theme is anything goes. Here goes....... I used my Christmas Kanban stamp which came from my Stampers Handbag that I bought from QVC a few months ago.

Crafters Companion Challenge blog Entry

Well this is my third  challenge that I've entered for Crafters Companion, using a sketch by Jacqui, with the added option of a theme “ONE FOR THE GIRLS”.  So I used Popcorn the Bear Floral cd-rom and matching papers.  I love popcorn, so cute!!!!!!

Mystical Carousel

This is a card made using Peerless Designs 'Mystical Carousel' cd-rom.  Lovely carousel horses, this was my favourite design as it looks like a real horse too.  Made on 3rd November. I printed it out onto card, cut it out and added a little bling... The matching envelope is easy to print out and put together, makes a nice finishing touch.

Here's a wordbook that I put together using a Funky hand cd-rom and added pics of the lady in question with my daughter Shannen as a little keepsake. Plus a gift box and tag to put it in.

Cards made last week

I can actually add a link to my blog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow

It may seem something simple to some people but it was driving me mad not being able to add a link to someone else's blog.  I emailed Mandy from Crafty Fox Cards for her help as I wanted to enter her blog candy and she came up with a fantastic step by step guide that worked.  Crafters are so helpful and forever share ideas and help. Thanks again Mandy.  I'm a newbie blogger but learning all the time............
