Hi all,
Back again with a card I made over lunchtime today.Another different card for me.
Fancied a little bit of embossing.
I used my cuttlebug birds embossing folder on the main card, embossed some diecuts and inked them with distress inks(found some die cut branches and the birdhouse in my stash) - forgot about them, then stamped polkadoodle birds with versamark and embossing powder, sentiment - polkadoodle stamp plate, raffia for bows and pearls.
Challenges:

lexi's creations challenge-86-mother's day or special female birthday
natalie and amy challenges-8-monochromatic

Well I need to go and take the soup I've been making off the heat.
See you soon.

Spring Stepper card Midway reminder
Hi all,
When this goes live I will be chugging along nicely on the train home. Had a super time with my family and am all rested and possibly re-enenergised - or is that too much to ask for.
It's midway through the present challenge over at nutcrafters so there is still time to join in with the present theme 'Spring'. We'd love to see you over there.

I decided to emboss my letters, ink them up, use some polkadoodle paper from my stash which is spring like, gems, flowers and create a stepper from an A4 sheet of card quite by accident. The image is one of the new Nutcrafters soon to be released 'Spring Bouquet' digital stamp - so cute.

Funky Hand day
Hi all,
Well what a miserable day - where has spring gone? The weather hasn't stopped me as I popped to see my Sister in law Teri and family for a cuppa and a catch up then a trip to Costa Coffee to meet my Dad with Shannen for a cuppa and cake...... There goes the waistline. I'm sure they've changed the coffee or something with the Latte's as it's not the same - too milky so must remember to order something else in future. I shall stop my blethering and get on with the job in hand.
I'm going to try and do a regular weekly Funkyhand post to show you what I've been making. This weeks make is one I made in a bit ago but haven't blogged it yet.
I used: funkyhand paper download - trad-ole-christmas - fab papers and cute funkyhand - oh-come-all-ye-crafters-digital-stamps too(coloured with promarkers)..Also a nellie snellen die, distress ink, typed sentiment, bakers twine, gloss accents+gliter for the holly berries and coloured shiny dew drops.

Happy Mother's Day over at Funky Hand
Happy Mother's Day to all the lovely Mums out there.
I've had a lovely day of crafting as my to do list was growing and growing. Including my mum in law's card and gift - I know flying by the seat of my pants as usual.
Here's a sneaky peek at the new paper and digi stamp download which is to be released soon......
I decided I wanted to do a spotlight card where part of the digital stamp image is coloured in, i.e. spotlighted. Here are all the dies and papers I gathered together to die cut with my ebosser:
Then once cut and embossed I could collect everything together as shown below.
I used distress ink while the Mom digital stamp was in the de'sire die, coloured the spotlight cicle with promarkers cut out with a Nellie circle die and added a little glitter. I also rolled some roses(marianne designs english rose), cut some leaves with Marianne designs die and used the letter sheet from the download in my graphics program and chose which letters I wanted to use instead of printing and cutting into a whole sheet.
I really had a ball playing with these gorgeous new downloads. The funkettes are so lucky to play, whoops work with fantastic Funkyhand products designed and created by Anice .
We'd love to see what you make with any funky hand goodies so please feel free to go over to the Get funky and craft blog or pop over to our Facebook page and leave us some pictures or comments.

Something beginning with B....
Hi all,
This is the first of my 2 posts today. There is a new challenge starting today over at Nutcrafters and the theme is chosen by little old me:
Lot's of b's here - boy, brown, blue, bear, boat, buttons, bag, bow. - probably overdid with all the b's but why not.
I used: a cute Nutcrafter's printed square cut out with a postage stamp die - coloured with distress inks and promarkers, letters dry embossed and inked, kraft card embossed, bakers twine inked, buttons and blue paper bag.
We'd love to see you over at Nutcrafters entering the challenge.Remember to pop over and check what the rest of the fabby DT have made too. There are prizes up for grabs and freebies to use too - so why not!
Challenges:
Di's digi designs challenge - all-about-children
Natalie and amy challenge-7-diecuts.
Dutch dare-card challenges-for-boys
divas by design challenge - buttons-and-bows.
deep ocean challenge 46-for-boy
Had a house viewing on Sunday so it was all hands on deck to tidy and clean up the house - one way to get the troups mucking in. Don't know what excuse I can make when the house sells.... My lovely stepdad Bob drove down from Scotland yesterday to bring Shannen his little Renault Clio for her to have.My Mum wanted a pink bow on it to give to Shan but Bob refused to travel 6 and a half hours with that on the car - don't blame him really. So Shannen is super excited and can't believe she's got her own car bless her.
Popped for a coffee with my tutor friend to catch up which was lovely.
See you soon.
Big crafty hugs to you all.

Some good news!
Hi all,
Oh what a busy week with posts - keeps me out of mischief. I got a lovely email from the lovely Shell at the end of January inviting me to be a Guest designer over at My time to craft challenge for the month of March. How nice was that so of course I said I'd love to so here I am.

I used my bird embossing folder, craft card, Hero Arts 'Poppy Stamp', white embossing powder,Paula Pascal sentiment stamp, kraft card and card candi.
Remember to pop over and visit the rest of the talented design team here.
Challenges:
craft us crazy challenge-38-anything-goes
