Staffies...

Hi all,
How are you all doing this weekend? I thought I'd share a card I made last month using papers from Craftsuprint. I used a pic I'd took in the summer of my Daughter's white staffie Luna and our staffie cross Hunter. Cuties aren't they.
Challenges:
pile it on challenge -148-pets
crafty hazelnuts patterned paper- use patterned paper
creative moments of craft challenge-157-Put a sentiment on your card

For my recent Poppy card I won prizes from:

I am so lucky.
I was given a steroid injection in my shoulder on Monday so I'm just waiting for it to kick in soon I hope. I've got calcification of the shoulder so will need a small operation at some point but i'm trying to hang on. My recent ct scan was clear so thats good. Onwards and upwards.

Thank you for all your good wishes. Enjoy your weekend and thanks for popping by.

Remembrance Day

Hello friends,
I wanted to post a card today that I made for my Mum a month or so ago. It is perfect for today to remember all those that have fought for us. They are true hero's.
These are Joanna Sheen's sheets from one of her books with a few bits out of my stash.
Challenges

Hope you're all well. Thank you for the lovely comments that you left for me these last few weeks. So very kind.I will get round you all soon. It means alot. I love blog land. Hope you're having a nice weekend. I'm having a lazy day. Only got 2 appointments this week for my shoulder. Ultrasound on Tuesday then physio on Thursday. I've been doing my exercises so here's hoping I get some news and treatment for it soon.

25th Wedding Anniversary

Morning all,
It's our 25th Wedding Anniversary so I created this card for Shamus using our wedding photo from 1993.
It's a different style for me and as you know men don't like a lot of fuss or frills so this was a happy medium and something I could manage with my daft shoulder without using my arm too much.

We've had a lovely day so far. We had to cancel going away for the night due to me but we went out for brunch then popped to a couple of shops. We'll enjoy a nice cosy evening with a chinese and a film together.
We have had some lovely cards and gifts. So generous. I am overwhelmed.

Hope you're all having a lovely day whatever you're up to.

Catch up with you all soon.

Embossing, embossing, embossing...

Morning all,
The new challenge over at:
I have chosen the theme of 'Wet or Dry Embossing'
'I did both as I love embossing'
I used a freebie Penny Black tree stamp and a freebie embossing folder.

Pop over and see what the rest of the teamies have created and why not join in with us. It's one way to get ahead through the year with your Christmas cards.

Challenges:

Thank you for all your lovely comments. I do try to get round you to see your creations when i can. I have so many appointments this month. I'm still not managing to craft as much as I've hurt my right shoulder. Started physio this week so here's hoping they'll sort me out.

Have a lovely day whatever you're up to.
