Well would you believe it I won first prize in the Polka doodles challenge blg for the ladybird card I made a week or so ago. Needless to say I am over the moon. Not sure what I've won yet but wow! It was my first challenge with Polka doodles.
Also made a couple of cards for my Mum this week. I created this using My craft studio Klever Konstruction cdrom. I added the words and resized the image to roughly fit a 5" by 5" card, Matted and layered it onto mirror board and decoupaged the little girl and the flowers. Thought it was such a cute image.
Here's an easel card off the same cdrom, I decoupaged the butterflies and glittered them. I also decoupaged the flowers too. There's some beautiful shaped cards and images on the disc.
That's all for now. Someone needs to check the tea and dancing on ice is on later too. xx

Also last week I received a little something I'd been after for a while and decided to treat myself with my Christmas money. It is fantastic. Here it is....
I felt so guilty, with it being a considerable purchase but my lovely hubby encouraged me to get it. I bought it from www.card-craftuk.co.uk and for £57.95 they include 3 cuttlebug folders of your choice and the mini ones too. It's a fab place to purchase all craft goodies and the service is impeccable and prompt. Free delivery too as you need to spend at least £10 to order. Check them out.
Well that's it for now. Going to do a few jobs. back soon to post a card up.

Well the Lili of the Valley stamps were calling , so what else could I do but buy some. I've seen so many of the stamps on the LOTV design teams blogs that I just had to have them. I succumbed to the 'Together forever' stamp. the 'Love grows' stamp and....... yes there's more some of their cute squares-romance,tea and chat and sporty boys. So Ill show you my goodies when they arrive-so excited. I really want to explore stamping more so here's hoping. Talking of stamping I treated myself to a couple more stamps in 'The Glitterpot' sale, some Magnolia stamps as I haven't any at all so thought another little treat with my Christmas money. That's all for now, no cards today as I had Physio for my back yesterday and feeling pretty ropey today....maybe tomorrow.

Mini Memory book for my Sister
Well it's my Sister's birthday this weekend and I wanted to do a little memory book from my daughter as a little keepsake gift. I made it on Wednesday but this is the first chance I've had to show it.Hope she likes it.
I used a papermania chipboard mini book that had scalloped cream piesces of paper in it. I even tried a bit of colour blending for the first time with my cut and dry foam and memento inks, it looked abit boring left as chip board and cream. Had some freebie papers, gems and flowers, few sentiments and it was done. Well that's me for now.See you soon.... x

Thank you cards
Yesterday saw me making a batch of thank you cards for my daughter to send to family. I managed six little ones. I'm trying really hard to use my stamps, papers and any bits of decoupage I have in my stash so as not to use the printer too much. Being mainly a cd crafter this was easier than I thought as I'm really into my stamping now. I used a Daisy and Dandelion decoupage sheet, one of their backing papers, ribbon, gold mirror board and a stamped 'for you' tag. For the other cards I used a free forever friends stamp coloured with promarkers, ribbon, gold mirror board and a stamped 'for you' tag. Six done many more to do. x

Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!
I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year. I hope you all had a good night, just a quiet one for us. All the best for 2011. No crafting for a few days as had to clear my dining room table for family coming round for a meal, don't think it'll stay tidy for long though.
